Muladhara - Root Chakra

 Muladhara – Root Chakra

The Kundalini (in the form of a snake) resides in the Muladhara. The Muladhara is the first energy center, representing the basic physical functions such as eating, and sleeping. This chakra represents the border between animal and human consciousness.

In non-spiritually woken persons, the Kundalini Snake is found sleeping in a coiled form. A person who focuses on the Muladhara will have control over his animalistic nature and will be able to easily grasp various spiritual knowledge easily.

The Root Chakra’s location in the body is at the tail bone of the body, for those who are beginning in their spiritual sadhana, meditating on your Muladhara will be a good way to start. For those who have an afflicted Muladhara, ailments will be related to overall motivation.

For example, if someone has many great ideas but is unable to find the energy to do the work -this is a form of an underactive Muladhara.

I will go in more detail on how to assess and how to remediate an underactive Muladhara.
